We got a 2nd TV and instead of getting a 2nd TIVO we got a DVR from the cable company. They have a huge collection of porn on the ON DEMAND section. They have categories like "kinky", "wicked", "3-ways", and the list goes on. They have a category for "Lesbians". However, no gay male porn even under the categories "Taboo" or "Alternative".
I know gay porn is a huge business and available at some hotels. I know companies like Falcon must want in the home ON DEMAND business. The cable guy had to come back to bring some cables he didn't have when he was here. I thought I would shock him and ask where all the gay porn was. When we first got cable, the young cable guy shocked us saying he gets offers of sex for free cable. We always wondered whether he was hinting around, but that is a topic for another day. Anyway, the recent guy said he's been asked that before about no gay porn. He said he thought it was due to the cable company believing people could tolerate straight porn being on the cable box, but they would have a problem with gay porn.
Just wondering if any of you have gay porn from your cable company? I wouldn't want to pay the $19 per viewing anyway. I just thought about all the gay guys who want porn from the cable box--not me of course. ;)

You don't really need cable for any type of porn and technology is almost to the point people won't need cable television at all. New higher end televisions, Xbox, PS3 or just hooking up your computer brings the internet, movies, TV shows, web series and all the porn you could watch to your living room. I know your point is that lack of gay porn on cable is some kind of discriminatory practice but there are so many other injustices in the world that an absence of gay porn on Time-Warner is pretty far down on my list.

Downloading is still legal in Switzerland, though uploading is not.
There is so much porn available via bittorrent that if I am in the mood for porn, i can download it, watch it once, then throw it away. Gone are the days where a good porn could turn me on for months or years.
I think when they figure out away to charge small fees for internet downloading, say a couple of bucks max, everyone will be happy.

I don't know about TW (we ditched 'em for Dish 3 years ago), but Xtube handles my porn needs. With Firefox and DownloadHelper, I can save the video in question. Plug my notebook into the projector and viola - a 100" diagonal screen with porn. Not only are the 'parts' life-size, often they're bigger than my entire body! ;)
One can also burn the movies to DVD and dispense with the notebook connected to the projector entirely.

Here in Canada, we have a 24 hour porn channel: HARD and it costs $9 a month. Some of the movies are total crap, but many are quite good, especially given the price. We finally bought a large screen TV, that we can connect to the web or stream movies to wirelessly.

Xtube FTW, for all the reasons outlined. My hard drive is crammed with the things (download Helper from Firefox to save the movies). About LOGO Mikey, we've had that for several years now. However, we just got the HERE network, but it is ON DEMAND and not on a regular channel like LOGO. I've been impressed with CBS NEWS that they allow LOGO's news to use the CBS NEWS name. I would have thought they'd be afraid to do that.
