Traveling and Atripla

Im in Week #2  of Atripla and Im doing really fine. No side effects not even an once of dizzyness in the morning when I rise. This weekend 25th-28th I will be visiting Washington DC for Carnival. My, best friend along with 3 others are joining me. They have NO clue i am positive and I would like to keep it that way. Any tips about securing and hiding meds? Should I walk with the entire bottle?  IIm schedule to arrive in DC at about 11pm---i will be out until 3-4am. Should I walk with one pill  when i am going out?

Huh?  Why in the world would you need to take your entire bottle on a walk?  Am I misunderstanding your question?

Kevy- I have an empty bottle from an earlier refill that I use when I travel. I take enough for my trip plus a few more. This way their is no question about the pills I am carring. You could get one of the pill fob cases and take your needed meds with you when you go out so you can take them on time.

The temp in DC is above 90F every day. You need also to carry a kind of cooler for your meds.

Really? Atripla needs to be  in a cooler in hot  n humid temp?

I have never had a problem carrying one or two on me either in my pocket or in one of the little pill pouches you can get at most drug stores -- and I live in South Florida where it is pretty hot and humid most times (i.e. today is 91 and feels like 100).... I wouldn't recommend storing the meds consistently in this type of temperature.  Atripla are not gel and not caplets so you should be okay for the short term.
