I started this because its the red, white, and blue of all holidays for us in the US tomorrow...probably more blue than anything.  If July 4th is not your independence day what is? and how do you spend it? and that includes independence of an array of sorts.

Hi Camille

Just wanted to wish all you guys in the States a great 4th of July

We Celebrate the treaty of Waitangi here in New Zealand on the 6th of Febuary.
Communities throughout New Zealand have been celebrating Waitangi Day in a variety of ways, these often take the form of public concerts and festivals...also Some marae's (sacred meeting place's for the Moari) use the day as an open day and an educational experience for their local communities, giving them the opportunity to experience Māori culture and protocol....but for the most part it's more in keeping with your Thanksgiving day.

Enjoy and celebrate.

Hugs
Jan :-*
(Who is already half way through the 4th of July..we get to celebrate before you guys are even out of bed.. ;))
