The Changing Face of AIDS - on PBS
« on: December 29, 2006, 08:33:09 pm »
Not sure if this is the right forum for this - but it sounds like it involves Living with HIV/AIDS so I thought I'd post this here.

On my PBS station tonight is a program called "In the Life" and the topic is titled "The changing face of AIDS; aging with AIDS; CDC funding issues; host Wilson Cruz." On my local station it will be broadcast tonight, 12/29 and tomorrow night.  Don't know how good it is, but guess I will find out...if I can stay awake for it! :)

While I was looking for more info on the PBS website, I saw this page called "Surviving AIDS" which was originally posted to go with a Nova program by the same title from 1999.  Here is the link if anyone wants it: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/aids/
And I wished for guidance, and I wished for peace
I could see the lightning; somewhere in the east
And I wished for affection, and I wished for calm
As I lay there - Nervous in the light of dawn

Looks interesting. For me in the Twin Cities it will be on at 11 p.m. on Tuesday. I will have to try and watch it.
