Some good news and some bad news
« on: February 09, 2009, 12:59:17 pm »
Sorry I have not been on for awhile.  I hate when I can't get on just to even read the posts since I am not a big poster anymore.  I was having problems with my computer that I am hoping I was able to fix on my own, so far so good.  I went with my hubby to a beefsteak dinner to support my sons sports with school and I manged to walk out of there with a month gym membership for my son, a 3 month gym membership for myself with 4 personal training session(just what I need to get motivated), and the grand prize of a 32" flat screen LCD TV!  Woo hoo.

On a sad note, a friend of mine who has a 6 year old son with a cardiac problem called to tell me he was in the hospital.  I wish I could do something to help this poor boy but I can't.  I hope all of you will keep him in your prayers for me.  This family is almost like an extended family of mine.  My son and their oldest son are best friends.

Hi Fran,

Congrats on the TV and the gym memberships.  I've not had any luck in drawings or contests in years.  Hopefully, your personal trainer will be a hottie!  I know that would sure motivate me.  ;)  Rest assured that many here will keep your friend's son, and the family itself, in their prayers.

Thank you for your prayers.  I love this little boy, he is such a doll and I hopefully will go see him tomorrow.
It was funny because I kept complaining that I have my husbands luck of the Irish because everyone at our table was winning but us.  Well low and behold we walked out with the most stuff!  $1500 worth of goods!  Yikes, most I have ever won.  I usually have crap luck.  Hope that is changing.
Well David I am married but I guess a hot trainer would be some nice eye candy to motivate me. ;)
