HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Hi, I have a new friend that will soone be telling me something I allready know but she dosen't know I know, she has HIV. When she tells me I would like to respond with something that will let her know that this matter isn't a problem for me and that I don't want it to stop us from becoming friends and more. What is the best way to put this? Has anyone said something really poinient that could help me say what she needs to hear?

Jim
