Is there somewhere/someone I can send un-used meds to?
« on: November 08, 2009, 03:47:53 am »
I'm going to have absolutely loads left when my pregnancy is complete (don't need meds for myself yet) as my doc keeps giving me a prescription for 2 months (NHS).  Ideally I'd like someone else who was pregnant to be able to benefit from them and hopefully have a healthy baby, least if nothing else there would be enough meds to cover a pregnancy and therefore more chances of a neg baby - realise there are a number of issues associated with this...and in less developed countries presumably these women wouldn't have medical attention to monitor the meds etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks for that - had a quick look but seems to be only for America?  Will keep looking anyway.

I've not been able to find anything out about a scheme in the UK. However I just noticed Veritee seems to know of a program in the UK and I've posted in her thread to ask her to let you know what the deal is. Hopefully she'll see it soon and get in touch.
