Exodus International , that group who does reparative therapy did a shocking thing ... they disbanded and admitted how wrong they were . Nobody likes a quitter , till now . I'm thinking they may be worried about getting their pants sued off them for what they have done rather than had some kind of epiphany .

Such 'realizations' seldom just occur like that.  I'd be curious as to how long this overdue breakup has been in the works and the real motivation behind it.  At any rate, good riddance!  It's just unfortunate that the harm they've done is still present.

I am happy to hear this news. I hope their apology is sincere but even if there is an ulterior motive at least they are out of business.

Although there is still a long way to go the last few years feels a bit like the Berlin wall coming down , where that last bit of resistance is falling away .

I was talking to my step dad about our struggle and tried to see it through his 75 year old eyes . When I listened to him I could see how startling all the changes in the world seems to him .

Its great they have thrown in the towel.  The intellectual and human rights abuse stupidity was SO great, i personally don't feel any need to forgive them...  The apologies and stories behind them are human but not sufficient.... 

Usually, what I want in cases like this is a full acknowledgement of the utter hypocrisy, full acknowledgement of the lives destroyed, genuine remorse for the latter, if not compensation.   

These people are still cloaked in their corrupt rellgion-based self-righteousness...

They need to put their tails between their legs and slink away in shame...  And not freakily beaming with their wives in fake serenity, looking like the Heaven's Gate cult leader Marshall Applewhite.
