World Aids Day Event: Philadelphia

Please join AIDS Fund in conjunction with Broad Street Ministry and the Sapphire Fund as we commemorate World AIDS Day in Philadelphia, this Saturday, December 1.

*** "Commemorate. Educate. Re-Dedicate" - WORLD AIDS DAY EVENT ***

Where: Broad Street Ministry, 315 S. Broad Street, Center City Philadelphia
When: Saturday, December 1, 1-4PM

This collaborative event brings together educators, clinicians, activists, and artists all under one roof. Enjoy performances by Broad Street Ministry Choir, Ruth Naomi, Smoke, Lilies and Jade Dance Company, Voices of Pride, and more.

There will also be free counseling and rapid HIV testing, informational booths from over 20 local organizations, art projects, food and beverages, a human timeline of the AIDS epidemic, and much more.


*** AIDS Memorial Quilt Display ***

The William Way Community Center and AIDS Fund are proud to host panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt in a display to commemorate World AIDS Day.

Where: William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street
When: Saturday, December 1, 11AM - 6PM

Damn.  I was going to spend all day Saturday at the Adonis Theater and the Tomcat Bookstore.

You can hardly not go Philly....they are going to be only a few blocks from where you live.!!!
The Adonis will still be there.  Alas I am on my way to NC         and must miss it.  :'(

Hello there I am a Woman that likes to say that the HIV Virus is Living with Me because God & I are in Control of this Disease I was very Bless to give a World AIDS Day Event in Passaic, NJ Project Complex where I grew up at I mean it was awesome I had some young people that did skits,poems,model,singing and a Panel of Inffected/Affected  on the panel was Adults / Teens  I mean this was the best Event I gave (((why))) because I got the Adults and the Youth to work Together as one
