Zephyr's new interview

Hi everyone in our global family. :D

Our dear old friend has had another interview in the world press. It was podcast today at thebody.com

In this interview she talks about her personal journey as a Long Term Survivor, Long Term Non Progressor, a heterosexual women and her spiritual and emotional journey of HIV. While she posts only occasionally here these days because of a very busy life, she is still quite involved in HIV advocacy and research efforts. I am happy and proud to call Zephy aka Loreen a dear friend. She and I are humbled to have been blessed with a similar circumstance being LTNP's. I am so proud of her for being very out in the world with her story.

Thanks so much, Paul, for starting this thread re: my interview with theBody. It was a privilege to speak to Bonnie Goldman about my life as an HIV positive woman, as I understand how important it is for more of us to come forward. How else can the tide of opinion change?

As you know, but many others here on AM do not, my life changed last November in such a huge way: After years spent alone, I fell in love with my best friend in Southern California, and relocated just three months ago to be with him. I do talk about this wonderful relationship in the interview.

I am doubly fortunate these days, as my good health continues, and that I can share my days with someone who loves me. Only problem is, with opening a landscape design office in my new town, and juggling advocacy, research trips and a family life, daily posts to any on-line community has become difficult.

I would like to say that it was the tremendous support and encouragement from so many here on AM during September 2005 to September 2006 that helped me to 'come out'...for through several caring people, I chose to disclose publicly, and to the world, my status after 13 years. I will never forget that year, nor any of you (Jeffrey), and carry you in my heart as my journey continues.
