Recieved oral sex from stripper.
« on: December 20, 2007, 12:01:40 pm »
To make a long story shot had a guys night out lastnight, went to a gentalmens club. Was chating with a dancer for quit a while one thing lead to another she gave me a lap dance and then performed fellatio on me. I have never been more freeked out in my life. I dont know if any ejaculation got in her mouth but I did ejaculate. The blowjob lasted only a couple minutes other than that it was just grinding. What are my chance of getting hiv from this particular event, and when should I get tested. I have a girlfriend and have never felt more guilty and scared in my life. plz help.

Receiving a bj is not a risk. Never has been.

Whether you ejaculated or not has no relevance whatsoever as far as risk to you. In the entire history of the epidemic there's never been a case of transmission to a guy getting a blowjob. You won't make history by becoming the first.

Read our lesson on transmission. It gives you all the basics. There's a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

This is NOT an HIV situation.

Cheers,

I know its the guilt that has me thinking of this, but everywhere I read even the cdc says there is potential risk from this.

Anytime you have sex with anything other than your own hand there is theoretically some risk. But in the real world of HIV there's never been a confirmed case in that manner. "Theoretical" is the key word there.

You're a dirty dawg like a lot of us but you aren't going to get HIV from this encounter. Really.

Get on with your life. No kidding.

There's no need for testing, but if you decide to do that at 13 weeks for peace of mind getting a negative result is a slam dunk. Really.

You will also do yourself a big favor if you stop surfing the net for fuel to feed your fears, all to no good purpose. Also really.

Anyone who claims they became infected by getting a blowjob is -- well, I won't even go there. It just doesn't happen. Period.

You were not at risk for transmission by getting your johnson sucked. End of story.

The way you are in danger of ruining your life and your gf's is through continuing to indulge in this orgy of guilt and unwarranted worry. It's poisonous in a relationship so see it, take a breath, let it go and get on with your life. No kidding.

This is absolutely not an HIV situation. Snap out of this trumped up drama right now!

Hey one more thing, If this is such a non issue why on the homepage does it say there is a risk. Or is that a risk for the person giving the bj.

JM,

There is a theoretical risk to a person giving a blowjob. To someone being sucked, there is no hiv risk whatsoever. You can bank on that.

Thanks ann,
I was waiting to hear your take on the situation. So is there no need to test here. I had a test 6 months ago just as a check up which was negative.

JM,

You don't need to test just because you got a blowjob. You're hiv negative.

Merry Christmas all,
The main reason I'm freaking out is because it was from a stripper. I have no idea who she is where she's from and how many other bj's she gave that night. i wasnt thinking clearly when it happened and that is the main reason for the stressing out. i have not been able to enjoy the holiday or even my family. I am just plain scared.

Once again:  you do NOT get HIV from getting a blowjob.

Now about this "because it was from a stripper" stuff...that's just your own judgmental BS.  What makes you think you are somehow loftier than the stripper?  It take two, ya know...and you were right there with her.  So you can take the moralizing and stuff it in your stocking, ok?

You weren't at risk.  End of story.  Go enjoy your holidays already!

The essential issue about HIV transmission is not whom you have sex with but WHAT you do. Most sexual acts are not risky for transmission. But unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse are risky unless a condom is used. And that's the deal in a nutshell.

So whether it's a stripper, a sex worker, a civilian who lives down the street or whomever doesn't matter. It's what you do with the person that matters. In your case you weren't at risk because you didn't do anything risky together. Period.

See a doctor. You didn't have a risk and this is an HIV assessment forum.

Oh, for heaven's sake.  Enough already.  You had no risk and have already been told so.

If you are that bent out of shape, you need to go see some sort of mental health counselor.

Strip Club... Was I at risk????
« Reply #19 on: April 08, 2008, 11:12:42 am »
Went to a strip club the other night. Got drunk like a moron was talking to a dancer, which led to a couple dances. Being the drunk I am completley forgot she told me she had a 6 month old child. My question is, I know breast milk carries the virus, I sucked her tits could I possibly be at risk from this. Would I have tasted milk if I got in my mouth? Also was drinking and smoking could that have an effect if indeed breast milk got in my body? Also she had very small boobs would I have been able to tell if there was milk still in them? Im just scared and need some expert advice. Please help.
Thanks

All you have to do is click on your name in your posts above.  Then when it pulls up your profile, click on "show last posts of this person".

And no, it isn't "kinda bullshit".  It helps us help you.  Not following the posting guidelines (which you should have read a long time ago) is kinda bullshit.

I've merged your threads. Keep all of your entries in this same thread. That's our rule whether you like it or not. And lay off of the nasty language. It can get you banned right out of here.

You weren't at risk for sucking the stripper's breast. Even IF she had been lactating and IF she was HIV+, your saliva has many elements which prevent HIV from being transferred effectively. There's no need for testing nor for further concern.

This is not the first time you have come here and reported sexual activity concurrent with excessive drinking. That's a mighty dangerous combination and something to be avoided in the future. You describe yourself as "being the drumk I am." If you have an ongoing problem with drinking that's something worth getting help with. There are effective programs for dealing with it and I suggest you look into them.

Happily this latest event is not an HIV problem and I don't see any need for testing.

You're welcome. Glad you found our exchange to be helpful.

And pay attention to that drinking thing. Aside from any other issues related to it, all too many people I have known became infected because when they were drunk all their attention to safer sex went out the window.

So is it safe to say I wasn't at risk? How much breast milk would it take to infect an adult? Just curious if it's even a risk for adults or if it's just for infants due to undeveloped immune systems.

You couldn't drink enough breast milk to get infected. The only ones at possible risk are infants.
