Very good question Mouse,
As a person who is painfully undereducated, I'v often wondered about those math classes I took that wound up being totally useless in real life. Geometry however, is on e that does come in handy from time to time. As a landscaper, it helps with different projects all the time, like figuring out square footage of some very oddly sized lots, figuring out the amount of material needed for a project, and even one time, figuring out how much shade a few newly planted trees will produce at maturity. As a restorer of classic automobiles, it is essential for correct refurbishing of the suspension system, brakes, frame, and even cutting new sheet metal to weld in when replacing rusted out panels. Other than that, I find it totally useless.....
