HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

i think Jeff wrote this in his youth.

Evidence.
"I was working in the garden with my grandma once when I was about 10  and she told me my momma was a good hoe'er when she was a teenager . I got popped in the face when I relayed the information to my mom a few weeks later and it became a family joke when the dust settled ... memory's"

Mitch,

The little whiteboard message was, indeed, written by a child (girl) who looked to be about 6 or 7 from the Facebook posting. I cropped the image to post here.

This also reminds me of a post I made here a few years ago about a friend of mine who was looking at some old photos and making sighing noises.

His little boy asked:  "What's wrong daddy?"
My friend said: "Oh, I am just having an attack of nostalgia."
Little boy (excitedly): "I know what not-tell-ya is!"
My friend (surprised): "Oh! You do?"
Little boy: "Yeah!  Mama said it's when you think about the bitter and sweet members you had."

At that point, I laughed so hard they nearly had to call the paramedics as I was gasping for air.

 :) :D ;D
