Title: Atripla times
Post by: MiniPozToyota on October 11, 2011, 09:15:12 pm
I've been taking my Atripla for almost 3 months now and been taking it at 10:30 every night just wondering if I could take it at 930 or 9 sometimes if I wanted to go to bed earlier?

Hi Mini,
yes you can do that.  I was taking mine at 1030p at the beginning and decided i wanted to take it earlier, doc said as long as i'm consistent with it and take it every night, Atripla isn't as time specific as some of the other meds.

i take mine at 9pm ....i got to bed around 11pm.   i used to take mine right when i went to bed and the next morning would feel groggy, doctor suggested i take it couple hours before bed, this was about two weeks in and that worked for me so i stuck with 9pm.

I've asked my doctor, and she says it doesn't matter at what time you take the pill. She's only ever recommended taking it right before I go to sleep.
