Question help needed.
« on: February 05, 2009, 03:42:42 pm »
Since my last hiv test about 1 1/2 years ago I have been with about 8 or 9 women.  I am male circumsized 50year old  non drug user never been with a male.  most of the women I have been with have been married never a csw, all encounters have been a one time thing.  Now during sex there is alot of fluids passing back and forth But I always use condoms each and eveytime for vaginal and anal sex. But forplay oral  I never preform oral on them and with some women squirting my anxiety is getting the best of me.  I feel what I have been doing is safe sex. But after reading posts on this board and the internet Now I am not that sure I was safe. My mind is playing crazy games with me. to a point that I swear I am infected. But even by reading the lesson posted here on this board and on others I think I should be safe. Never had a condom fall, slip or break.  Do you think I have put myself at risk, or am I doing the right thing.   Your answers are deeply appreciated.  and keep up the good work you are helping hundreds if not more.........

Dameo, based on what you are reporting I don't see any cause for concern about HIV in your situation.

We do recommend in general that anyone who's sexually actually ought to regularly have a full STD panel done. That's means at least annually.

I think you're worrying needlessly.

Thanks Andy..  Sorry for my typing..  I meant to say,  the oral and masturbation and fingering were all unprotected , Only the vaginal and anal was fully protected.  I am just worried about all the fluids and when a woman squirts and it goes all over. Can any of this be a worry for me about catching hiv.  I did have minor cuts on my hands that had scabbed over  no fresh cuts  and  never say any blood either from here or from me.  Just Worried because more and more people are saying the had protected vaginal and anal and somehow caught hiv. Really confused and anxious.   Thanks again fro your help.

Even with your clarification I will say again, nothing you did put you at risk for HIV transmission. You are worrying needlessly.

As for those "reports" you refer to, they never hold up under scientific scrutiny. The only proven risks sexually for HIV transmission are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. The rest are theoretical and hearsay.

You're welcome. I'm glad our exchanges were helpful to you.

Now, get on with your life and make sure to always use condoms for vaginal/anal intercourse.

Cheers.
