This was pretty scary.  What it did not mention was how patients reacted to treatment. Would love to know if it resisted treatment as well.

The rapid progressors had 1/2 the CD4 count (both sets were very low here), lower CD4%, much higher VL, all the cases of PJP (the new name for PCP), more OI's overall, etc. than the normal progression to AIDS group.

Rapid progressors moved to AIDS in 1.4 years vs. 9.8 for the chronic group.

Its not an most aggresive form...its just scientists researched in wrong time and wrong place...

I dont hv any links of the articles...its my experiences....my friend in my country would develop aids less than 1 year. His CD4 decreased gradually in 2-3 months from 900 to 300 (3 months after sereconversion). He visited the doctor and got medication after that.

So, I dont know why this is called as the most aggresive , I think our genes has a part how to control or not the virus replication.
