I am a male...i performed oral on a guy for about 10 seconds, twice..mostly around the shaft..but i did put his penis in my mouth for a few seconds...i think there might have been some.. pre-cum but i didnt not taste it in my mouth..additional right after i drank some water...no sores in my mouth..
I think im overreacting to this all...and maybe because im spending too much time lurking the forums...but it would be nice for someone to tell me im alright...and explain why it is RARE to be infected this way (I have read the lessons, btw)

Star, yes, you are worrying needlessly.
Even if his penis had been in your mouth for a longer period of time, your saliva has many elements which very effectively prevent HIV from being transmitted.
From time to time we hear of someone who's insisting on having become infected with only giving oral as the risk factor. For all sorts of reasons they don't hold up under scientific scrutiny. Whereas longterm studies of sero-discordant couples, both gay and stray, who have lots of unprotected mutual oral and only protected vaginal and anal intercourse have resulted in not a single sero-negative partner becoming infected.
So it comes down to deciding on your comfort level as far as "potential risk." Obviously if you have a fresh wound in your mouth or very bad oral care you might want to think twice about having someone ejaculate in your mouth. But the risk is really more theoretical rather than actual based on HIV science.
Certainly what you have described doesn't fall under the heading of risky to me.

As per my readings on this site...it is not needed to be tested over such an incident. Providing that i do my regular check-ups (yearly). Correct?

That's right. No testing needed for this incident. Just the regular annual that anyone who's sexually active ought to have.

Your entire team does a great job on this site..i know not everyone is appreciative of the advice (possibly because of the state of fear), but please know that your efforts are greatly appreciated by the worried wells like myself. Im sure that responding to messages on this board is very time consuming and quite frankly annoying because of the repeated same questions, however sometimes its nice to hear a personal answer to ones question..it provides that reassurance that most people on this board usually need.

I have read that concurrent STD's increase the risk of HIV by 2-5 times...few questions on this
1. For STD's like (Gonorrhea and Chlymidia) is the HIV risk increased for the person that already has that STD or is it the person who contracted it
2. If a person contracted a STD (other than HIV) through giving a oral sex...are they likely to also contract HIV
3. Would I need to be tested for HIV..if I determined I contracted another STD.

Just an additional question..if there is an increase in risk as I have read in many places...then shouldnt oral sex be considered more risky?

The,
1 - If an hiv positive person has another STI, it increases the chance of them passing their virus on. If YOU have something like an open herpes or syphilis sore, the chance of YOU becoming infected is greater. This is only when we're talking about unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse.
2 - No. As you've been told, transmission just doesn't happen this way in the real world and if the presence of other STIs made a difference, we would have told you.
3 - It depends on where the site of your STI was. Oral, no. Vaginal or anal, yes.
Although you DO NOT NEED TO TEST over this brief blowjob, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
Sucking some guy's cock for ten seconds is NOT going to result in you becoming hiv positive. Really, it isn't.
