Title: Dipping
Post by: Gazman on July 12, 2013, 08:00:21 am
Hi

Could someone let me know what level of risk I have exposed myself too.
A couple of days ago I visited a sauna (in a very drunk state). I had a brief encounter with a guy who rubbed him cock around my arse and then shoved himself in. It was brief but painful and I stopped immediately. I don't even think he got more than the tip in. I am HIV Negative and clear of other STDs up to this point.
I'm going out of my mind and will get tested but what level of risk have I exposed myself to.

Many thanks

Gazman

Hi Gazman . Its rare for a person to test positive for a dipping episode so the facts are on your side .

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs. You should keep mind mind that you should always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Since you are sexually active and was penetrated without a condom you can test for piece of mind  . I would fully expect a negative result . You can test for HIV and other STD's at 6 weeks past any possible exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the result .
