Why's this a big deal?

The latest news on clinical trials and discoveries will be publicly released.

Highlights according to the author will likely include:

- Hepatitis C cures

- HIV Strategy studies (one with background nuc with either boosted PI's vs. INSTI; another with NO nuc and PI + INSTI vs. nuc + boosted PI)

- the INSTI GSK744 monthly injections as a PrEP (albeit in macaques)

- the INSTI GSK744 as oral + the non-nuc rilpivirine as a combo ART in humans (stepping stone for monthly injectable therapies in humans)

- New data on boosted PI regimens for preventing mother-to-child transmissions

- New osteoporosis data in HIV populations
