I saw this yesterday and read through the Mormon church's new website http://www.mormonsandgays.org/ and while it is not a whole hearted reversal of their previous antigay stance, it is some baby steps in the right direction.

The church really took a public relations hit after their involvement in prop 8.  I found it interesting that during this years gay marriage votes the church was silent on the issue.  Then I read an arricle that said they were moving away from social issues.  Now they come out with this new, less anti policy.

If nothing else I give them credit for moving in the right direction.  Knowing how antigay they have been in the past (I dated a Mormon boy right after high school, he gave me mono, then the church excommunicated him) I give them credit for this step.
