I Just Turned 26...Again...

...well, part of me anyway...

This month marks my 26th year HIV+. It is hard to believe that I have been HIV+ for nearly half of my life.

I received the labs from my recent doctor visit and the numbers remain good.  Still non-detectable with 610 CD4 at 30%. Other lab numbers are also good with no alarming "flags".

I got an additional boost in that the doctor said that I he had a great day because he saw "four of his favorate patients so far that day with me as the fourth ".  I wanted to make a witty reply but "clamped 'ma gums".  :D

As I posted before, no giddy skip in the park this disease but I am grateful that I am doing OK.

Take care everyone...

Congrats.  I'm amazed every day that there are still people around from the "death sentence days".  Just wished I'd have made a plan B for my old age.....lol

Congratulations!

I turned 43 in November—passing the "half my life w/ HIV" point, too. Just...amazing.

Stay well and happy.
