Minnesota just became the 12th state to legalize marriage for men who suck cock and take it up the rear, two weeks after Rhode Island did so and a week after Delaware.

Our reaction to this news is Apathetic.


We are just shy of 1/4 of states allowing the gays to get hitched.  Progress?

I predict a division of blue states that allow the gays to marry and red states that don't.  This will eventually lead to a collection of states that I can live in should I ever move as I do not wish to have my marriage dissolved simply because I move to a different state. 

Again, we are becoming two countries.

Are you talking about Rep. Bachmann, or her wife, Ms. Bachmann?  Perhaps he will now accept who he is, now that it is legal there. 

I find it so amazing that this is becoming just a passing news report.  It seems so obviously unstoppable, that even many religious right folks are just accepting it.  They are just bending over and taking it.  I am not seeing huge Christian Right protests or damage to Dems, like we did in the past.  You don't see many repubs even using it.  Didn't come up in 2012 election. 

But, I am not naive.  Like Bug said, we will have blue states with marriage equality and red states without.  The Supreme Court will surely have to remedy this.  This will be chaos with parental rights, property rights, etc, if a married couple from the marriage states moves to a red state.

The religious right sent so much money from Utah to stop same sex marriage in California, they left out 16 states and Washington.

Currently, there is a giant banner flying on an office building in the Financial District in San Francisco.  This banner, along with an aggressive TV advertising schedule on all the major networks, they are trying to attract California tourist dollars to come to Utah.     Have the best day
