Best News Ever
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:18:01 pm »
My baby's 4 month lab results came back and now she is officially HIV negative.   :)  Even though we had done everything possible to protect her and  the odds were overwhelmingly in our favor, I felt I could not rest until I got the official confirmation.  I thought I was going to burst because it took a full 10 days for them to come back.  Until the odds are 100%, I guess I will always worry about being that 0.1%.  I guess I don't take anything for granted anymore.

Now I feel I can finally plan for a future where she (hopefully) doesn't have to worry about her health or a huge stigma hanging over her head.

 :) :) :)
