Undetectable!
« on: May 23, 2014, 03:59:10 pm »
Today marks the 5th month since I have found out about my positive status while getting my Rapid Test results. I have been on meds for the past 3 months and I am fortunate enough to be undetectable now.

I know I have thanked everyone on here for being supportive and helpful with all the information, but I don't think I can express enough gratitude. Thank you.

Great news on being undetectable.   made meds part of daily routine so I don't forget to take them.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worthwhile.                              The point of the journey is not to arrive.

Great news. I'm new here and I'm new hiv infected one. I'm still scared as hell, I'm 22 years old guy, I read a lot of informations about HIV or AIDS. I'm a student of oriental faculty, it is so hard to study well, and I had never failed in any exams, but now, my brain is like, stopped, thinking about death all the time. I lost my power, I lost my energy, I was a member of ,,Young Scientists Organisation" [about middle east] , but now, I don't wanna  have a power, to study, to stand up. I'm really happy to read good news about you, my doc also says that one day I'll be undetectable too, but everyday I'm hopeless, and permanently I think about suicide. I know what the drama I put over here and I am sorry about that, but, I just  do not know what to do. I cry all the time and think about death.

Hey frozen, welcome, why don't you start your own thread and introduce yourself. Take a deep breath man, you are NOT going to die from this. What country are you in? We're a pretty global group.

Don't be afraid of the numbers. I am undetectable, yesterday. Three months ago I spent some time in hospital, wasn't so sure I'd make it through. But I did. And I'm not the only one. Just in the past week, a handful of members here have all hit UD right about the same time. And we're talking down from Viral Loads of 100's of thousands. In months man.

You have a doctor, you're making progress already. You're in the plus column man, don't be thinking about opting out. And if those thoughts start gnawing at you too much, get help, no shame in that.

"Undetectable"

Undetectable
That's what you are,
Undetectable
Tho' near or far.

Like a song of love that clings to me,
How the thought of you does things to me.
Never before
Has someone been more...

Undetectable
In every way,
And forever more  ;)
That's how you'll stay.

That's why, darling, it's incredible
That someone so undetectable
Wish that I was
Undetectable, too.

Undetectable
In every way,
And forever more
That's how you'll stay.

That's why, darling, it's incredible
That someone so undetectable
Wish that I was
Undetectable, too.

Congrats!  ;D

Hi Zach, I'm Luke, from Georgia, a country between Russia and Turkey, Western Europe.
My viral load dramatically changed in one month, it's 148 now (before it was 22.540), CD4 is increased pretty well, I feel better. There are 4, 500 000 humans in whole country, we are small nation, that's why HIV and AIDS are not commonly spread diseases.Almost 2000 humans are infected in whole country, so it was shock first time, plus, society is not merciful to HIV positive ones, because, they DO NOT know exactly what is that and e.t.c.
My first time being was caused by people's stigma and before heard stuff, we all, humans are such kind of creatures, that we never try to find out a problem what isn't in connection with us. So I was the same, but HIV changed my life. I don't know was it good or bad, or something between but, I am completely different. I was shy person enough to ask even street address to anybody over the street, or say something loudly in the crowd, but now, I have a power. My old, weak power was gone and returned with triple existance. I learned how to live right, I mean I stopped smoking, I stopped drinking a lot in the weekend parties in the clubs as well, and other how to-es as well. I am oriental faculty student, Arabic sciences, but on the other hand I am a musician, I play the piano, sing, compose some songs, but they had not seen daylight yet. I'm strong enough now and I am happy to see your responce. Thank You! I hope to be undetectable in the next month.
