Title: Help With AIDSmeds Report on HIV & Depression

Dear folks in the forum,

I'm in the midst of writing a special report for AIDSmeds on HIV & depression, w/a bit of a slant on what impact the post-holiday time and New Year's resolutions have on people who are suffering with seasonal or regular depression. We always do our best to weave in the voices of people with HIV who have experience with whatever topic we're writing about, and I think that's particularly important with this subject.

As part of my research for the report, I scanned through a lot of the postings in this forum and was struck by the eloquence and passion in a number of the postings. If you're willing to openly share your story, experience and truly beautiful voices with our wider AIDSmeds audience as part of the report, I think it would increase its value tremendously.

I know we're heading into a period where a lot of folks will be on the road or unavailable due to the holidays, but if any of you would have ten or fifteen minutes to spare for an interview between now and December 26th, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded to my request for interviewees. I wasn't able to use all of your stories, but those who expressed an interest in sharing your experience in an POZ article are sincerely appreciated, and we're always looking. In fact, POZ is scheduled to post 26 such special reports in the coming year, so anyone who's ever thought they may want to share their experience and inspiration with other POZ folks should feel free to write to me at devans_aidsmeds@yahoo.com
