For all of you who have been so kind in asking about my friend Chuck, I just wanted to let you know he passed away this morning from complications from the Histoplasmosis. Once again I appreciate the kind words and thoughts.

Rest in peace Chuck.

I am terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.  Many of us know what that's like, and it never gets easy.  I hope you find a way to honor him and your friendship in the coming days.  And, in some way, I hope you are able to find solace in the knowledge he enriched your life  (as I'm sure he felt about you).

Until then, accept my deepest condolences and humblest good will to you.

Hugs,

Scott

I was so sad to hear about your friend Chuck.

It's always hard to lose a friend and loved one...and  letting them go is even harder.

Friendships are not always easy but you had the strength to hold onto Chuck and the friendship you both shared, I pray you will find the strength to let go.

Sending you prayers and ((((hugs)))

I want to thank all of you for the kind words...it really does help. Tonight I am going to help Chris (Chuck's lover of 22yrs and my friend of 25) plan a memorial service for Friday based on Chuck's final requests. We were all holding our breath waiting to see how Chuck's very conservative, religious mother would react. She graciously decided that Chuck would have wanted Chris to finalize the details...he always did that in their relationship  :) so he should do that now. Knowing that Chuck's final wishes will be honored makes it just a bit easier to bear.

Once again heartfelt thanks.
