Texas Gay Couple Told to Leave or Die
« on: October 05, 2012, 01:20:46 am »
I don't know what I would do it this situation.  I think I would feel that I should stay, instead of letting them "win."  But, I think I would have to move.  I would constantly be in fear.  I couldn't feel at peace at my own home.  I hope they find whoever is responsible.  Usually, people brag about things like this.  That person tells someone who tells someone, who hopefully will report it.

Good question!  If I had roots in the area might want to stay. If I lost money moving, might want to stay. If i was in a "fuck the bigots" moment of indignation, might want to stay. Or if the police carefully considered the situation and offered protection or a risk assessment that said it was ok to stay, I might want to stay.

Consider moving because some cowards spray painted some hatefullness?  I can only assume this is a younger gay couple because those of us who lived through the fighting to be ourselves years, would not budge.

We had similar situations occur in the late 80's and early 90's.  It didn't frighten me, it just made me more pissed.  I eventually caught one of the little fuckers, (out witted him) and his parents were mortified.  We got a lot of free labor out of him as penance.

Being honest is not wronging others, continuing the dishonesty is.

My source in Clarendon says this is possibly drug-related; regardless, the community is outraged and wants the perps caught and punished.

    I would NOT move !

My neighbors  know I am crazy !   I do not take crap from anyone . Grrr.

I hope they catch the people that did it and  post their sorry assed faces in

    the News paper .

I also think they must be young , But that does not make it right .

Never been to   Clarendon  , May cross it off my bucket list   :-\
