Title: I'm so upset - help me please.
Post by: BSNRNgloria on March 03, 2010, 01:50:22 pm
Hello everyone,

Recently, my mom passed away (2/27/2010 @ 11:40pm). A lawyer called my younger sister to let her know what happened regarding her death (2/28/2010). She disappeared from our lives when I was 9 maybe 10 years old (I'm now 27)...

She passed away from cardiac arrest & pneumonia in her lungs. I'm currently in school for nursing so I was able to see ALL that she was suffering from which was a lot...

As I write this blog, I'm crying because I miss her and had missed her for sooo long. My siblings & I searched high and low for her but always came up empty handed.

I'm very upset with her passing away alone, never seeing her again, not being able to ask her why did she leave us - we need her just like I 'know' she needed us.

I'm here because I need to talk about this.

BSNRNgloria,

I'm really sorry to hear about your mom's passing.  Although, your entry is confusing???

Did you mean to post your entry here or somewhere else?  This is an online site for HIV information and support and you just posted in the "I Just Tested Poz" forum.  Did you receive a HIV+ diagnosis?

???

Is it your mom who had HIV? Is that what you saw in her records?

Please consider asking that your thread be moved to Someone I Care About Has HIV. If it is your mom whom you're writing about, I can only add that I wish we had a forum for you titled...Someone I Tried to Care about had HIV.

Now that you know where she was living, maybe you can find out who knew her, interview them, start to piece together the woman you missed knowing and loving.

What a double-whammy of grief you must be experiencing right now.  I'm sorry for your multiple losses.

Em
