Interesting thread. I am a real estate addict, and a die-hard watcher of the show "Real Estate Pros" (formerly the team from Flip That House). Not into Bromstead or the "decorating" shows, though.
I watched the clip you posted Dan J. of whoever that is from Flipping. I'd heard other people who know my interest in real estate talk about him, but have never seen him before today. My two take aways are 1) he needs to hold the botox on those lips; and 2) he must be talking to himself in the bathroom mirror.

You're going to be waiting a long time. It so much more convenient for the media to compartmentalize gay men, and it so much of a relief for hetero-America to believe that they can identify homos because we all look and act a certain way.

the reason why the zen queer won was because he went head-to-head against a woman (alice, the southern belle runner-up), and a very talented and gorgeous one at that. and of course the female viewer-base of hgtv couldn't care less that alice has a lot to offer the design world and voted for the muskel mary instead. well, whatever, now they're stuck with david's crappy show where he flexes his biceps and makes every room look like ass. i voted for alice but i knew it was a lost cause. david is a matchy- matchy formulaic fairy and people will get bored

The boy is cute, love the tat, and at least he has more talent then that wench from Divine Design, who actually PAINTED the woodwork in a craftsman home. She deserves to be given the contract to redecorate Iraq or something similarly futile.
ARGH!! It was hickory paneling, or it could have been oak, and she painted it - WHITE! ARRRRRRRGH!
We're not talking about that cheap garbage they sell at Homo Depot. We are talking the real thing that would set someone back a mint to try to replace today.

please mary, bromstad has more talent in his upturned pinky, than alice has in her entire body. their head to head competion proved that. her kid's room was t.i.r.e.d, and the judges pointed that out. she's the kind of southern designer where the height of talent is being able to match the curtains and pillows to the matting in the gilded frames and call it a day. the best woman won!

as it turns out, hgtv gave alice her own column on hgtv.com: "ask alice". although it's not her own show, it tells me there's some justice in the world. at some point david will probably be a "talking head" host like evan farmer or gail o'neill once the network realizes he gives the same-old-same-old ... give me karen mcaloon any day
