You learn something new everyday, even from Vanna
« on: December 12, 2008, 09:22:39 pm »
At the end of Wheel of Fortune last night, Vanna said that if you don't know what side of the car your gas tank is on, look at your fuel gauge and there will be a little gas can on the side of the gauge the tank is on.
So last night, in the pouring rain, I went out and checked and my car actually has an arrow underneath the gauge pointing toward the tank.  How cool is that? Please tell me I am not the only one(besides Vanna), that didn't know that!! ;D ;D

Dear, I didn't know that either.  Don't feel alone. :-*

No, you are not the only one that didn't know that. Very interesting, does that only apply to newer cars? Thanks. Cristy

Ok...I checked mine and I didn't see an arrow. Is it only on certain makes or years? I have a 2005.

Not sure what years have them - but I have owned 98-08's and they all had them - except instead of a gas can - mine actually had a gas tank like at the service stations.
