Hello all
I am a married man but i still have some bi tendencies, anyway just before xmas i visited a male masseur and one thing led to another and i recieved oral from him without a condom, nothing else.I did not come in his mouth and this lasted about 5 mins.about ten days later i had some discomfort in my penis and i noticed a rash on my body which i treated with some cream from the chemist which did clear it up. i had a urine test done which came back negative for stds.i did not have a blood test for hiv.anyway just recently i have been getting quite nasty headaches and a sore throat and worried if i should be concerned about hiv.i have been very stressed about this whole episode and wonder if the stress may be the cause of my symptons.thank you very much in advance.

You are worrying needlessly about HIV. In the entire history of the epidemic there has never been a single confirmed case of a guy becoming infected through having received oral. You aren't going to make history by becoming the first.

Your symptoms are something you should be discussing with your doctor. They have nothing to do with HIV. There is no need for HIV testing.

Incidentally, whether you have an orgasm or not is irrelevant in terms of any risk to you for HIV. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal sex. Period. Use condoms for those activities consistently and you will be well protected against HIV.

Cheers.

Hi all
I posted on this excellant site a few months back about me having concerns about cotracting hiv from recieving oral sex from an unknown status male.About ten days later i started getting pains like a urinary tract infection and a mild rash on either side of my torso, also i had a cold.I tested negative for stds by urine sample but did not get tested for hiv.anyway i have had a bad 5 months with headaches on and off and a sore mouth and throat.I have been to my doctor today and he has put me on medication for oral thrush which is the first time i have ever had this in all my 50 years.could all these symptons be just stress related or should i get myself tested. It has been 8 months since my sexual contact,ie recieving a blowjob.
thank you in anticipation
p

You got a  blowjob; get over it.  Not one single person has ever been infected that way and you won't be the first.

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv as you never had a risk.

That result is no surprise here but I can appreciate how relieved you must be feeling now.

Get on with your life. Just remember to use condoms everytime for vaginal/anal intercourse and you won't have anything to worry about with regard to sex and HIV.

Cheers.
