Title: protected sex with csw - do i need to test?
Post by: gunthdog on March 26, 2013, 10:45:09 am
Hello - Thanks for all the advice you guys give on this forum.

About 6 weeks ago i had sex with a prostitute in hong kong.  We had sex twice, using a condom for the entire encounter both times.  During the second time I kept worrying about the condom breaking, but i pulled out a bunch of times to check and it was intact.  Maybe because of this it was taking a while, and so she pulled the condom off and gave me a handjob to finish.  And of course now i'm worried that she had vaginal fluid on her hand which could have transmitted something to me.

Can you please advise on my risk of hiv or other sti transmission from this encounter?

Thank you

I read your concerns very carefully and I can tell you you did NOT have a risk for HIV .

HIV is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. For this reason, bodily fluids outside the body do not pose a risk and that means masturbation is not a risk for HIV infection.

Its safe for you to put your fears to rest , you never had a risk for HIV .
