so where are all the Poz women at?
I know if there out there ,
they are for sure not post there personals on Poz Personals.
it seems like there is no place in the poz forum to respond to poz women
there is a women forum, where therte asking questions,
but, it says that men can not respond on that forum.
sounds like someone at the poz site needs to look at this.
I am a straight poz male and looking for a poz female
but if they put a personal profile on poz personals i will never find her
does anyone else have the same feelings?

Hon, that's because this ain't am HIV personals or hook up site...it's an HIV support forum. The women have their own forum there so they can have a space to talk with their peers about personal issues pertaining to HIV. You do get all that, don't you?

What questions are you talking about. I'm just not clear on what you're saying. We women have our own space where we feel safe enough to post things we just prefer the other women to read and respond to. Pozpersonals should fulfill your need. Like Timmy said, this isn't a pickup site.

Yeah...I think they may be asking that rhetorically to one another, ya know? You've brought this up before (actually, in most all of your few posts on here), and I gotta say: You won't win any favor wih the ladies here if you keep posting in their forum (you've done it before with the very same question

Honestly...if you really wanna get to know the ladies on here, you have to stick around and just share with the forums as a whole.

I don't think you even know me to start with and the other thing is, why are you so upsetwith me?

well if you want to know who i am and you want to question my motivates ,
talk to winrro and or omiewagner, they know who i am and they also know i have a profile on poz personals and i am a genuine and nice guy, even if you don't

Viewer, I don't think Timmy is upset. He's just a galante defending us womenfolk. He's right, though. If you want to interact with us ladies, it should be done in the proper forum. A man posting in our women's forum tends to make us edgy.

Hi Viewer.

The womens forum was added so the ladies of the forum could get together and talk about famlies, babies, boyfriends, who's dating who, women problems etc, etc.

Timmy is not upset with you he is simply pointing out that you can get to know the ladies on here (and other ladies) through the poz personals..if you want to get to know the ladies who post in these forums then stick to the other forums and get to know them by taking part in everyday converstions that go on here.

I'm going to delete your post in the "Positive Womens" so please don't post in there again.

Since I've been on this forum I have not even considered browsing the women's forum .
To me it'd be like looking into some ones window .
I like interacting with all people here and feel I can discuss anything I want with anyone .

I think sometimes folks get a little confuzzled when starting out, especially if their first stop was POZ personals (which absolutely suck by the way). I've noticed that some seem to think that AIDSMEDS is just a continuation of that um, dating site. They look around and see real live ladies all corralled into one forum and they can't seem to help themselves. Once you explain it to them they usually move along. Witty banter about polyps ain't what their looking for.

God help them if they do try to enter the hen house.

Excellent point, Doxie. This could be solved if the forum software allows for "user groups" (then the guys wouldn't even have to see the posts when we clicked on "show unread")

I do remember seeing Viewer post in the Women's Thread and I think a few of us took his head off then. Sorry about that, Viewer but that forum is sacred to the women here. We usually jump any guy that posts there. I guess we ladies are a bit territorial...

I understand how you feel about Poz Personals, not much potential there for Poz women either when looking for a man. I use to have an ad on there but I took it off after running into a scam. I would agree that you need to read the ladies' posts in the other forums to get to know them. I wish I could offer you more advice but it just sucks, it really does. Maybe if you post more often in the forums someone will eventually PM you or something. I wouldn't suggest trying to PM any ladies here with weak pick up lines either. It wouldn't benefit you or be pretty in the least. Good Luck with your endeavor.

I don't know if I'm stealing the thread or merely answering the question that you started it with, but yes, the online heterosexual positive dating community can feel very small sometimes. Although that may not necessarily be a bad thing, and the scammers can be a real hoot, it reflects the old stigma problem.
