Fantastic Atripla results after 23 days
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:29:51 am »
Just back from hospital great news viral load down to 266 from 59.000 , cd4 up from 591 to 787 and % up from 15% to 16 % pretty amazing this atripla . Now for couple of questions .
1. Does the % take longer to rise than the cd4 count
2.I had seven weeks gap from 1 blood draw to the next with 23 days on meds and My cholesterol has risen slightly HDL(good) from 34 to 38 and LDL (bad) from 85 to 106 total cholesterol from 170 to 205 and my trigerlicerides from 202 to 302.
Having now read that atripla causes rises in cholestorol and trigs does this level out after initial jump or just keep rising.i eat a good diet so this concerns me .
3.If the sustiva is to blame and fats keep rising i would change to isentress, rather two pills a day than a heart attack.

Thanks for your  kind help and advice in advance.

Congratulations Tommy!

As far as the % vs CD4 count goes, it took/is taking a lot longer for me.  The tcells reached the normal range long before the %, and the % is still not consistently up in the normal range.
