The fruit of a union of contrasting colours grows up hating that union.
And a pagan is undaunted in his belief that a cure will come from his gods! These lives merged different narrow paths, giving birth to a wider one that leads to a great dream, a conquering love, a changed heart that gets another chance, and a new life which comes out of one that should have been scourged to death by a virus.

I'm just trying to figure out what his intentions are

I looked on his website and he doesn't really tell much about himself their either. Read the couple of downloadable chapters, very graphic mind you, but didn't see anything about HIV.
If he's trying to sell his book, fine, he probably might want to post in off topic.

If he's poz, he might want to share something about himself. That's all I was asking.
