Hello, some of you may remember back on the old forums I posted about being lonely I got some excellent safety tips and some wonderful encouragement. I also received a suggestion to go to POZ personals, which seemed to work okay. Well one of the men i have been talking to is on his way to NC as we speak to see me. I am so nervous but also hopeful. He should be here Saturday night and will meet me at my work where I will be surrounded by co-workers so I will be safe. I do feel sure that he is not a freak except maybe in a good way but do feel more comfortable meeting at my work the first time. I so hope this works out, I will keep anyone interested updated. Cristy, Good luck, i too have been talking to someone from the poz personels, i hope to meet him in the next few weeks. Yes please be careful, i ment someone from there this last Feb. and lest just say he hurt me pretty bad. I did report him and i don't see him in there anymore. It is a good idea to meet somewhere, where you feel safe and all. I hope everything goes well. I will keep you in my thoughts. Have fun and just be careful.

Even though I have never meet any of you, this is a prime example of exactly why I come here each and every day. Thank you so much for your encouragement and cautions. I have him coming to my job Saturday night, which I feel is a safe place. Also when we go out I will take the family cell phone and have my mother call me at a prearranged time so if I am uncomfortable I have a reasonable excuse to leave. I will be cautious but am also extremely excited and nervous. Iwill update sunday. Thanks ya'll. Cristy

Well, I finally went on my date tonight. His car broke down en route from California so it took a couple more days than expected. I really enjoyed myself and he is very nice and actually seems to be exactly what he represented himself to be. plus, i got to go to Darrel's , which is my all-time favorite restaurant. We are gonna get together again tomorrow. even if he isn't "the one" at least now i have more hope that i can still have a relationship even through all this. That's really reassuring. later, Cristy
