Our Newest Forums -- Foros en Español
« on: May 12, 2008, 09:14:31 am »
Hello Everyone:

As many of you will see, we've added a new group of Forums to our community -- Foros en Español, two Spanish-language conversation groups.

This has been a goal of ours for several years now. We pride ourselves on being the best English-language online HIV/AIDS community and we look forward to expanding it to Spanish speakers looking to ask questions, request or lend support, or simply connect with each other.

Andy Velez will be the chief moderator of the Forums, with the rest of us helping him out along the way. Y necesitamos tu ayuda -- si lees y escribes en español, participe por favor!

In the coming weeks, we'll be working to promote our new Foros en Español. Please give us a hand in spreading the word!

Onward and upward,

Tim Horn

Hi Tim
Its great that forums in Spanish have been started.  Congratulations!
I am fairly conversant in Spanish and read pretty well.  Not as well as I used to but....not bad.
I'll see what I can do to help.

This is great!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!! You have no idea how important these forums will be... there are lot of people looking for first hand info about how to fight the disease... but the language barrier prevent them to get info from the first world. Now we are putting the info closer to them.
