Health Update and my first meeting with Dr. Goldstone

Health Update and decisions

I am having quite a busy month now. First. I went to see my dentist after a 3 year absence. Yes I know! Bad boy! First thing was a cleaning. MAN IT WAS GREAT! I needed it so badly. Teeth are great and my dentist says my gums are fine. Just need to get a crown and come back for regular visits.

Now, I had my first meeting with Dr. Stephan Goldstone. WHAT A AMAZING PERSON! he is so funny and he made feel very comfortable.  He encouraged me to have sex after I told him I was enjoying "celibacy" since my bf and i are not having sex these days due to his work schedule and my school schedule. It's been 4 months for me now and my focus has been my education. My bf as well has health issues like high blood pressure and his meds take away his drive. Anyway, Dr. Goldstone is a amazing doctor. He gave me anal pap smear and I go back next week for an exam. So far, he says he has not seen any warts but he will double check!

Now, I know I posted before about taking meds. With hearing about how many are taking meds sooner than needed and getting the best results, I am pushing to take them. I will make my decision after April when I get my blood work done.

Thanks for listening!

hugs

NYK

Thanks for the update, Kat.  I haven't seen a dentist in years, so you're not alone on that guilt trip.

Glad you like Goldstone.  I've seen him as well a few times, but have used his nurse practitioner even more, Jeffrey Huyett.  Jeff has a wonderful bedside manner.

Good luck with the treatment decision!
