Any positive woman interested in a parenting partnership ?
« on: June 08, 2009, 11:44:24 pm »
I am not completely sure if this is the right place but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try:)
I am a 40 YO positive gay guy, a physician in a pretty prestigious field of medicine.
I have a dream to be a dad for a long time and I realize I'm not willing to give it up just because I turned positive. HIV+ men and women can now have their own biological children with almost 100% safety to the child. I am looking for a woman with a similar dream for co-parenting. I am a very responsible and committed guy who has a lot to give (also good looking).
Write me if you find this idea interesting...

If any females are willing to talk to my wife about a possible loaner deal I am game.  I make very pretty babies, although I must warn in advance, I can only make girls.
I despise the song Love is in the Air, you should too.

I would love to have another one but after the last miscarriage my husband is completely against the idea. :'(

I wish everyone the best of luck on their endeavors.

I always wanted a biological child, but I don't think it is going to happen.  I have actually been trying to contact a former "girlfriend" from about 18 years ago.  When I was about 14 or 15 and she was 19, we had tons of unprotected sex.  She wanted to do it over and over.  I remember thinking at the time that she was possibly trying to get pregnant, but I was young and thinking with my junk.  Yes, I did use to be into the ladies.  I still find women sexy.

Anyway, she turned up pregnant soon after the last time we were together.  She swore it was her new husbands.  At that point, I was happy it wasn't mine.  But, I began thinking recently what if that child was mine?  He or she would now be around 18.  Even if I can locate her, I'm not sure what would happen.  The child may have been her husband's or she can't be for sure.  If the child is now an adult, I couldn't force a paternity test anyway.  So, I suppose I would just have to see whether she knows the child was mine and just didn't want to cause trouble with her husband.  I'm conflicted because it could cause trouble and the child not be mine.  So, I may just let it go.  But I'm not totally grasping for straws.  As I said, we would have sex 10 times in a night and she gets pregnant right after that.

I hope you don't see this as a hijack of your thread looking for a woman to have a child, but an example of things people deal with when it comes to children.
