I hope there are others in Kentucky who have a heart as big as his and help him out, it's hard to care for your animals when you have nothing, I think it would break his heart if he had to give any of them away.

I can't believe his State didn't stand up for him when he was unfairly sacked because of stupid laws, when the hell are they going to change them, surely they can't continue to treat people like that and get away with it.

Come on you Kentuckians grow a pair and help Kevin get what he deserves, a descent living so he can look after his animals.

Also I would like to work on a llama farm.

Very sad.  Louisville, Lexington, and now the small town of Berea have anti-discrimination laws.  You cannot discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation for employment, housing, and accommodations.  I think Lexington gives benefits to the partners of gay, public employees.  Our school board, here in Louisville, now protects gay teachers and employees.  It has been tried at the state level, without success.

We have many more registered Dems than Repubs in KY.  We have voted for Dem governors every time in 40 years, except once.  We voted twice for Clinton.  But, these Dems are really conservatives.  I don't know why they keep their Dem affiliation.  If you agree with the Repub platform, why not switch?  Too much paper work?  It isn't hard, at all.  I don't understand it.  I know the older southern Dems were the ones against civil rights bills and laws.  But, they are almost all gone. You would think their kids would have changed their party.  There are many who vote Dem for union reasons, but who support many of the repub views on social issues.

I hope this guy is able to keep his llamas.  I will share the story on Facebook.  I would donate.  I can't do much, but would do something.  But, donations would only help for a while, from regular folks.  I wonder if there are animal charities, that could help him?  Perhaps sending the story to Ellen would be the best bet.  She's gay, has money, has connections to get more funding, and loves doing this kind of thing.
