jg1962 (Jeff) has been given the dubious honour of becoming a Global Moderator. He's a great guy with a good head on his shoulders and I'm confident he'll be a valuable addition to the team. Yes, that means he now wields the Ban Hammer and Time Out Truncheon, so be nice to him. ;)
jkinatl2 (Jonathan) has also been made a Local Moderator in the Am I Infected forum. This will mainly mean he no longer has to send mod reports about merging threads there, he can bloody-well do it himself now. ;D

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and fear mongering as well LOL .
I joke around allot but one thing I have always been consistently serious about is this forum . I can get unapologetically sappy when it comes to this forum and the people in it . When I joined the forum I was practically a broken man and the support I found here was a huge factor in rebuilding my life . From the day I found this place is the day I didn't feel all alone anymore and that was a place to start a new life .
I have laughed and cried with you guys and grew stronger everyday because you were here for me when I needed it . I am still here asking for support and offering it as well , that hasn't changed and will not change .

Oh I'm not worried about about the ban-hammer, as I've never been warned, given a time-out or banned :D

While you might not appreciate a whack with the Ban Hammer, Jeff has a brand new Time Out Truncheon that may be more to your liking. It's nice and flexible so it would likely suffice as a spanking tool as well.

I was working in the garden with my grandma once when I was about 10 and she told me my momma was a good hoe'er when she was a teenager . I got popped in the face when I relayed the information to my mom a few weeks later and it became a family joke when the dust settled ... memory's :) .

While I love a good cubano that's an exceptionally weird request for Valentine's Day. In fact it seems like the type of thing that shouldn't even be made at home. Exactly what type of bread are you using? A french baguette is as close as you are going to get but it's still not the right type of bread. And I trust you're at least using a panini press, even though that isn't what you're supposed to use.
We will need to summon the fair Rev. Moon for his opinion.
The place downtown here that made quite good ones, as well as having tres leches on the dessert menu is now closed. I found a new place to have a cubano but was severely underwhelmed by it. I'm glad you brought this up though because it made me do some research and I see that I can obtain a cubano at Garces Trading Co. -- but seriously, $12? Barbara, please.
