« on: September 19, 2007, 06:35:53 pm »
 :)hi every body:
i amwriting from latin america, from argentina,i had an incident on may 21 of this year. I stayed with a girl,i did not have intercourse sex,no oral sex,no vaginal, no anal sex,no kisses,i was dressed ,she was nude an asked me to touch softly her clitoris twice, i did so with my bare finger,my finger was sane ,no wounded,no no hurt,no cuts, then i touched her vagina, external side of vagina with the palm of my hand,my hand was too sane,no wounded,no hurts,no cuts.I abandoned the room, I DID NOT WASH MY HANDS.
I arrived at home 55 ( fiftyfive) minutes later, I washed my hands with alcohol, and water and soap.15( fifteen ) minutes later  i masturbated myself, with my bare hand on my bare penis.

94 ( ninety four) days later,it s some like three months an three days i realized ELISA.IT was Negative.

Please ,may you,the best experts , tellme what i have to do now: i need to realizea new ELISA just at 6 months?,Am i in risk, what may i expect from this case.I am in the middle of a nightmare.
Thanks a lot for your hel.god bless you :'( :'( :'(

Bel,

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection. You do NOT need further testing. You ARE hiv negative.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I have merged your threads, please stick to this one so we can keep track of you...thank you for your cooperation.

If your friend has been given a negative result at 9 weeks then HIV is not her problem, her fears aare unfounded..but if she wants to test out till 13 weeks for peace of mind ...well that's up to her.

Please read the Welcome Thread and follow the lessons on HIV transmission and pass them on to your friend to read.

hello dear experts
here i am again,i am in some kind of trouble,i do not know what to think about
i took notice of advice of being tested two times a year,so las t week i went laboratory and made my hiv Elisa test ,for the finishing of the year,i got results at 5 days,it was NEGATIVE.Here comes muy question:when i got in  the nurse office i took out my coat and put in a hook, when i got round there was the nurse with the syringe and the needle stick in her hand  I DID NOT SEE WHEN SHE TOOK OUT THE SYRINGE NEITHER THE NEEDLE FROM THE SECURITY BLISTER.i did not see blood in the syringe neither in the needle.Have you heardsometime of something so,has it been a dangerous situation,it was posible the needle to be infected if the test was Negative,I want to add ,there were a lot of syringes and needles in their security blister over the desk.May you give some advice,am i a paranoic,if it is a silly question i apologize,i do not want to waste yur time, really i do not know what to think, may it be she was in a hurry, anything more.
Thanks a lot for your help, great experts of the world, god bless you,and a great huge for everyone.

Belgrano,

You really are stressing over nothing. The needle and syringe would have been sterile.
