I am trying to roughly work out when this happened to me i was diagnosed 3 december 2008 with 505 cd4 count vl 2500 tested again 3 months later cd4 635 vl 70,000, early november 2008 i had an irritating cough that wouldnt clear until xmas and mid november i had one week when i was freezing cold all the time(,i was negative march 2006) could this of been when i sero converted last november?

It may be hard to pinpoint your seroconversion, some people can seroconvert with little or no symptoms at all. For me it was fairly obvious as I was bedridden with fever, chills, nightsweats, huge glands and diarreha for about 5 days ( I had literally never been sick a day in my life prior to my seroconversion), but from what I understand it can be common to seroconvert and not really know it. Hard to tell in your case...

Unless you were testing regularly before you got your positive diagnosis, there's really no way of telling when you seroconverted. With your numbers it could have been years ago, or it could have been fairly recently. Numbers don't necessarily go one way or the other. I've been positive for twelve years now, and my numbers have been up and down during that time.
The important thing is that you know you are positive now and can take care of your health and can prevent onward transmission to your sexual partners.

I have had one thing or another most of my life.The date of the first test for me was August 1988.But I know for a fact I was already infected for at least five years before the few things I know are that 1982 a dentist suggested that I get test and a few months later the Plasma Lab stopped me from donate any more at the time I did not know what the hell was going on.As for the Dentist had a root canal done and had my first bout with Thrush and my mouth got very infected.As for sleep around that was not happening in the town I grow up in.I was pick up buy a stranger that payed me that was about 13 months before I saw the Dentist.
