Very good news!!  I'm always amazed how quickly the meds work.  I realize this isn't true for everyone, but always amazed by them.

Best of luck for continued good health!

Yea, Atripla is great med.  I was diagnosed in Year 2000 and my CD was 440 and viral load was about 20 thousand.  I didn't want to take any HIV med for the disbelieve of HIV is the cause of Aids for about nine years and then I start to take Atripla in the month of July 2009 after five months of hospitalization.  That is after nearly 10 years.  Now I am on eight months on Atripla.  My CD is 468m and have undetectable Viral load.  Amazing.  I gained what I lost for ten years in about seven or eight months with increadable health now.  Thank you Atripla.

Hello metekrop,

Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind answering, was you're five month hospital stay due to an HIV related OI? Just curious because of the CD of 440. Thanks and glad to hear the Atripla is working well.

Yes, it is because of OI which arises from HIV infection.  That was a brain infection.  My CD was 440 back in year 2000 that is 10 years before the time when I was hospitalized in year 2009.  I was reluctant to take the meds during these nine years.  But finally I came down of the OI and was near to death.  I believe during this time my CD was less than 50.  I was not conscious that time but that was what was told to my families.  Honestly I'm telling you this Atripla now is saving my life.  At least I don't know gave my life back to me.   :)

Ditto & congrats!!! ;)
It's all a sham. Politics is a big game, same as the media - and same as religion. The point is to distract & control. If we're looking at what they tell us is the "big issue", we're not looking at what they are doing. In time, there will be different causes and different minorities to pick-on. All in the name of keeping the system going, and the people distracted.

By the way, you know something what amazes me during these nine years of living with HIV, I have a wife and a child.  They are both negatives.  My wife and me were in denial.  The Californian HIV women by the name of Christian Miaggory were our inspiration until such time I learned her death  That was after I went out of the Hospital which was I think the end of 2008 or beginning of 2009.  I was just shacked to hear about her death.  So I always say NO whenever I heard when people tell I am strong, healthy, working hard bla bla and avoid medication. ;D

I talk with some guy here in KY who experienced something very similar.  He went off meds for about 5 years.  He said he felt fine until he walked into his family's home at Christmas and collapsed.  He had a brain infection as well.
