Title: Truvada/Reyataz/Norvir 2nd Labs

Started meds on 5/13, and first labs, taken 5/29, were very disappointing. CD4s DROPPED from 186 to 117, and VL remained pretty much the same at 56,000.

But yesterday, I received the labs from 6/19....basically 5 weeks after starting treatment. CD4s are up to 295 (highest since we started measuring) and VL dropped from 56,000 to 113!

Since I had screwed up and missed 5 doses of one of my meds, I had really sweated these labs, but I'm way encouraged.

And very thankful for the people in this forum who have held my hand, as a newly diagnosed member of the club.

Robert,

Your first labs was way too close of starting your regimen for being significant.Your second labs 5 weeks later is a much better indicator the meds are working quite well so you should happy with this, and equally happy for you Robert.

I would advise you of not missing doses too often, and apart from that you shall do just fine.  ;)
