Long time
« on: March 24, 2008, 10:26:22 pm »
I;ve not been around since my mum embarassed me. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who responded/gave a shit. I've been back on the old treadmill, double pnuemonia AGAIN, in hospital for 2 weeks in feb. NEW meds, very efective,cd4 climbing to unknown heights but horribly, awful depression. How does anyone cope with day to day, boring routine? I've launched 3 moderately sucessful businesses in last 6 months and still want to cut my own throat? sex drive zero...still with the man i love...at my wits end...help?
I know i'm going to enjoy the party in the afterlife, but do you all mind that I'm going to be VERY late!!!

Glad to see you back, but sorry to hear of the bout of pneumonia and the depression.  Has your doc been able to suggest anything for that?  (What are the new meds?)

I'm just glad to see you back around.  About all that other stuff, I don't have any magic answers for that, sweetie.  Just take care of yourself, think about what you really want etc.  Do you see a therapist?  Sometimes a good therapist can be a god-send.  And what I recommend is something I do myself.  Good luck to you and like I said, it's great to hear from you!

Tiggs,

Have no specific solutions, but glad to see you back.
Looks like there's been light and shadow... don't cut anything OK?

Tigger, it's good to hear from you again.

I second Betty's suggestion/question about a therapist to get some support. Also discuss this depression situation with your doctor and whether it might be related to your new meds.

Keep us posted on how things are going.

Cheers,
