my vegetables
« on: July 29, 2006, 08:03:49 am »
after much faffing, have worked out how to compress the size of picture files. This is what i get for changing photo software.

anyway, thought i'd share some photographic evidence of my farming achievements, such as they are. Butternut squash, peppers in a separate post i think. Lettuces got all shy & didn't want to be photographed.

think i may have (finally) been accepted by the allotment clique - namely, the rather intimidating German Hilda. I got some sort-of, almost  praise for the straightness of my runner beans this morning, when i toddled down to let my plants know i hadn't abandoned them completely. (I have been rather a poor plant-parent this past week or so...they have been being looked after by my neighbour). This is high praise indeed, and I look forward to soon receiving my first invitation to the next "Shed Huddle".

It looks like you have been a good "plant parent" to me. They look really good!
