Update on hubby
« on: September 29, 2010, 12:19:48 am »
Hubby went in for his lab results today and to meet his new Dr. I went with him so I could meet her too, and to get a copy of his labs. They usually mail them to me but didnt this time. I guess because of the change in doctors. I took my notebook that i keep all the copies in and she was impressed that i keep them all together. Then she asked me if I wanted a flow chart so I could keep track of them at a glance. I told her no that I do it on line and she asked what program I used. I told her about this web site and Graph your labs. She was really impressed with this site and wrote it down and said she would recommend it to her other HIV patients.

Hubby is doing well. His CD4 is 294, 22.6%, and <48. His CD4s seem to fluctuate between high 200s and mid 300s. Not worried because I know they do that. He is doing good on Atripla, no major side effects, and he hasnt missed a dose since hes been on meds. He feels good, looks good, and works every day. No complaints. Im thankful he is doing so well.

Had my yearly HIV test today and it was negative.

I have become a grandma. My daughter had a baby girl in April. I am having the time of my life being a grandma! The baby has hubby wrapped around her little finger. He thinks she is the cutest, smartest baby ever! LOL

Hugs
Teresa

That is terrific news! It is so nice to hear a success story!

Also, congrats on your grandbaby. May you have decades and decades to spoil the little thing :)
