standard treatment and new treatment
« on: June 29, 2012, 11:16:17 am »
I got tested poz on June 7 and I have seen my doctor for 6 sessions already. I got my baseline result yesterday and my doctor tole me that I am healthy in general. The virus load was 4400 and CD4 was normal. The doctor said the virus load was low because the mutated viruses are still finding their way to invade my body. However, I have on resistance after getting a genotypic test. I decided to go on medication someday next week although my CD4 count was normal. I am going on the standard treatment (Truvada+Kaletra) and new treatment (Celsentri+Isentress). I joined a study and they gave me two medical procedures (Apheresis to collect my white blood cells and Sigmoicoscopy to collect my gut tissues). Can anyone give me suggestion? Thank you. I have gone through this all by myself and it is really hard for me. I am not ready to disclose this to any friend of mine, so I came here for help.
