What has happened here with this CSi thing?
« on: February 17, 2007, 07:28:11 pm »
I've been away from the forums on a sunny fun filled vacation. I've been catching up here for over 5 hours today, and somethings happened. There are CSI ads all over , thanking us (?) for accepting their invitation (?) ?? I've read Tim Horns thread telling everyone how the rules of AM work. What I cannot locate, is a thread or a post that explains to those of us who are already members here, WHY this CSI thing is all over the place, has it's own FORUM, and as a result, I've noticed people saying they're leaving the forums, and Avatars that usually have the persons photo in it have been removed. The CSI:NY thread has posters names in it that I have never seen before, and I'm assuming these are the people who work at the TV show, logged in here for suggestions??

I would greatly appreciate a little enlightenment by anyone decent enough to respond :D

Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

I was also out of town when the new CIS forum started, along with all the ads.  People getting upset, leaving, changing avatars... is not what I'd expect from a forum that I thought was about support for those living with HIV.  I'm really disappointed in the 'opening up' of the forums like this, but who am I?  I'm just a freeloading member who has no rights to anything I've said here.  I've not read any GOOD reasons for the hookup with CSI yet.

Hi Guys,

Without taken a position personally at this moment about the subject, if you go into the CSI section specifically as well as in LIVING WITH, you'll find a number of related and explanatory threads, including ones started by Peter Staley.

Check them out and you will at least get some answers to your questions, (even if you don't agree with them).

Cheers,

Andy Velez
